Hello again. I hope all of you had a great week. I have been working on something that I am really excited about! I will share that with you in just a moment, but first the weekly update. Last week was not only weigh in day but also measurements. In the eleven weeks since I started with Shannon at Revolutionary Wellness, I have lost 2 inches off my chest, 4 inches off my waist and 4 inches off my chest. I have also lost 19 pounds. I feel better, I have more energy and my body doesn’t ache nearly as much.

There are a lot of plans and programs out there that are all designed to help you lose weight. It is up to you to find the program that works best for you. There is no miracle cure that will shed weight overnight. You must be willing to put in the work. I have to get up in the morning and do my morning routine and then eat healthier all day every day if I want to see continued weight loss. While 19 pounds is a lot, I hope I lost one more this week to get me to 209 pounds. That would make a full 20 pounds lost. If I did, I am still 40 pounds away from my target goal of 180 pounds. If that seems like a lot, it is. But with a positive mental attitude, a great support system and my desire to better myself, it is an achievable goal. The only person that can stand in the way of my goal is myself.

Accountability is my key to success. Having to report to Shannon every week is one form of accountability. Updating my boss on my progress is another form of accountability. I also have you, the reader of this blog, to be accountable to. If just one person out there finds inspiration in my journey, I cannot let that person down either. Having this kind of accountability may seem daunting to some, but it is working well for me.

Each person needs to find that one program that works for them and embrace it. Travis, the owner of our company, is getting in shape and staying fit by following a program that would drive me crazy and make me miserable. His program is working for him and that is fantastic. He is happy with his progress doing his program and I am happy with my progress on mine. Again, there is no “one size fits all” program for weight loss. Many of them can be successful and give you the results you want. You just have to find one and do it.

Now, all of this comes with a cost. If you want to change your body, you will have to be willing to invest in yourself. You have to invest your time, your willpower and sometimes some money. Going to a gym costs money. Joining a weight loss group costs money. Buying healthier food costs money. And if you have worked hard and dedicated yourself to committing to losing weight, you will have to spend money on a new wardrobe. The program that I am on now cost $175 for my initial evaluation and $45 for every follow up visit. So far, I have seen a very good return on investment.

Now, what have I been working on that I am so excited to share with you? I believe in the great work that Revolutionary Wellness has done to help me get where I am. So, after a few weeks of meetings, I am proud to announce that Fusion Rehab and Wellness is going to sponsor one person for a 10 week period to work with Revolutionary Wellness and their health coaches. That person will also have access to our wellness program during that time. We are looking for one individual who has a desire to change themselves for the better and in exchange will assist us in promoting our wellness program and our goal of helping you to get your health moving forward.
