As a current PTA student and part-time physical therapy technician, I do not have a lot of free time. While I would love to spend a lot more time in the kitchen making delicious meals I can sit down and enjoy, I have to find quicker alternatives. I am always looking for easy recipes and snacks to be able to enjoy throughout the day. One of the easy go to meal I make comes from my childhood. My mom used to make this delicious Alfredo sauce at least once a week! I add this sauce to any 16 oz pasta and it’s so delicious!  

Mom’s Alfredo Sauce

The recipe takes fifteen minutes and is absolutely delicious!

Ingredients

–          ¼ cup of butter

–          1 cup of heavy cream

–          1 clove of garlic, crushed

–          1 ½ cups of shredded parmesan cheese

–          ¼ cup of fresh parsley

Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium low heat. Next, add cream and let it simmer for 5 minutes. Add the garlic and the cheese. Whisk the ingredients quickly. Heat through. Stir in parsley and serve!
