About Chelsea Rizk

Dr. Chelsea Rizk is a Physical Therapist and board-certified Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner who is dedicated to helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their pelvic health journey. She takes a trauma-informed, whole-person approach to care, recognizing that pelvic health concerns can affect many aspects of a person's physical and emotional well-being.

The daughter of a United States Air Force veteran, Chelsea had the opportunity to grow up in many different places before recently moving from Albuquerque, New Mexico to Virginia. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of New Mexico. Chelsea has completed advanced training through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute and is also certified as a Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist. Her clinical experience includes treating chronic pelvic pain, urinary and bowel dysfunction, sexual pain, pregnancy-related discomfort, postpartum recovery challenges, pelvic organ prolapse, and orthopedic conditions connected to the low back and hips.

Chelsea was drawn to the supportive, family-oriented culture and the emphasis on both personal and professional growth. She hopes every patient feels genuinely seen, heard, and safe. Her goal is to create an environment grounded in consent, comfort, and collaboration where patients leave feeling more connected to their bodies, more confident in their healing, and supported as a whole person—not simply treated for their symptoms.

Outside of the clinic, Chelsea enjoys traveling internationally with her husband, spending time with their dog, and exploring the outdoors through hiking, kayaking, snowboarding, and relaxing on the beach with a good book.
