What are people saying?

Dr. Travis Stoner helped me recover from different physiological problems, each time finding custom treatment solutions. He is a “natural healer”, as well as a Ph.D. with vast knowledge and expertise. He is first focused on helping you, yet witty, outgoing, personable and positive. He is also a master of dry needling, a hard to find treatment, which has rid me of arthritic neck and disc pain. I honestly do not know what I would do without his help.

– Ric

Working with Dr. Travis Stoner through Fusion PT is the best investment I have made in improving my health and wellbeing to date. I’d resigned myself to having moderate chronic upper back pain a long time ago: I had tried physical therapy elsewhere, muscle relaxers and pain meds but everything gave me fleeting relief at best and in some cases made it worse. It felt like a really hopeless place to be. The positive results I have seen with Dr. Stoner are almost magic as he was able to target multiple sources of my pain very quickly: but really it’s the result of his expertise in multiple modalities (dry needling really works!), attention to detail and passion for helping make your life a little easier that has helped me find relief after all these years. A simple thank you doesn’t even cover it!

I have had three therapy sessions at Fusion PT in Spotsylvania. Two of my sessions were with Rich and one was with Travis for dry needling therapy. Rich has been working on my back with wonderful results and Travis worked on my back and my right knee which will be operated on next month for a double torn meniscus. The dry needling therapy was fantastic. Great location! Travis, Rich and Anna, Receptionist, are a great team. I highly recommend Fusion Physical Therapy to anyone who needs top quality, professional patient centered physical therapy. Kudos to Travis, Rich and Anna.

Travis is a class act and cares for each and every client with the utmost respect and professionalism.

Schedule your physical therapy now, so you can get back to what you love sooner.

Let’s answer some of your questions before you make the time to come in.
We want to make sure you’re ready and your time is used appropriately.

How do I know if I need physical therapy and how can you help me?

Physical therapy can mean many different things to many different people. If you are having trouble getting around or doing tasks that you were once able to do without difficulty,  physical therapy is for you. Our Physical Therapists are specially trained to identify specific impairments that lead to impaired functional mobility. This can range from having difficulty with your balance as you’re walking through your yard to not being able to fully rotate your body in the back of a golf swing.  If you are still unsure as to whether you need our services please give us a call.

Do I need a referral from my doctor?

Yes and No.  Our Therapists are Certified Direct Access Providers which means they are able to treat you without a referral from your doctor for 30 calendar days.  Certain insurances require you to have a referral from your doctor before you come in to see us.  If you are curious as to whether you need one or not please give us a call and we will fill you in.

How do I make an appointment?

Give us a call and we will get you scheduled during a time that is available for you.  If you receive our answering machine please don’t hesitate to leave a message with your name and phone number and we will call you back as soon as possible.

What should I expect from my first visit and what do I need to bring?

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your first scheduled appointment.  We want to make sure everyone receives the appropriate amount of time needed for a proper evaluation.  When arrive you will meet our receptionist, Anna, who will collect all your information including: Driver’s License/ID card, Health Insurance Card, and Referral from your doctor (unless direct access).

Be sure to have on comfy clothes and shoes that will allow you to move around.  There are a few important pieces of paperwork you will have to fill out, but should only take a few minutes.  You will then be paired up with one of our Physical Therapists who will proceed with your evaluation which will consist of just getting to know you and your goals.  We are here for you.

Don’t forget your new patient forms if this is your first visit.

Do you accept my insurance and how much will I have to pay?

We accept most insurance plans.  A detailed listed is on the the right side of the page.  When you call to schedule, our front office will verify your insurance benefits before you come in for your first visit.  Each treatment is unique to the patient which means time and services will be different for everyone.  If you have questions please call and we can walk you through the process or call your insurance for more detailed information of your health insurance plan.

Still not sure? Ask one of our professionals for some free advice!
