Dr. Kimberly Tyborowski was born and raised outside of Harrisburg, PA but moved to Alexandria, VA in 2012 after graduating PT school. She directed a busy outpatient clinic before deciding to join the Fusion Rehab team by opening a clinic in Alexandria.
Kim has been practicing in outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, women’s pelvic health, and neurological rehabilitation since graduation.
Fun Facts about Kim: Kim loves the Steelers, the beach, local breweries, spending time with her son, daughter, and husband, and is a secret cat lover.
“I decided to reach out to my friend and colleague, Travis, about opening a Fusion Clinic in Alexandria after I had my daughter in 2020. I wanted to start a clinic in the area where my daughter will grow up for several reasons. I wanted to be more involved in and be able to give back to this community. I also wanted to treat patients the way that I think is best for each one of them. Fusion has helped me achieve these goals and I am excited to continue to grow here! It’s exciting to be part of a company that really values their patients and staff members.”
Kim specializes in orthopedics, dry needling, manual therapy, women’s pelvic health, sports medicine, runners, and functional movement analyses

Dr. Kimberly Tyborowski
Rehab Aide
I grew up in California, and I am currently going to NOVA.
My goal is to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
My core values include kindness and generosity. I think it is important to offer help to others in need, whether it be a stray cat in the street or your next-door neighbor.
Fun Facts: I like animes like Death Note and Devil May Cry, but I also like the podcast Talkin’ Yanks by Jomboy Media.
I focus on trying to provide good hospitality for the clinic. With previous experience in the restaurant industry, I try to provide a comfortable and welcoming experience for each patient, always keeping the patient’s best interest as a priority.
I think it’s important to preserve the focus on a person’s personal health. I feel that there’s a lot of things in life that distract us from our personal well-being and drive to make ourselves feel better.
When I’m not working, I enjoy watching sports, playing various games produced by the Pokémon franchise, and taking care of my dog, rat, and two cats.
