Dr. Sarah Suggs was born and raised in Houston, Texas and lived there until she moved to Austin, Texas to attend the University of Texas. She moved to the Northern Virginia area for PT school in 2019, and after graduating she started her career in San Diego, CA working with orthopedic and pelvic floor patients, as well as several active and retired members of the military. She moved back to Fredericksburg, VA in 2024 and is excited to be here to stay!
Fun facts: Sarah grew up playing the flute and was in the marching band at the University of Texas. When she isn’t in the clinic, you can find her training for her next race, cheering on the Longhorns, or taking care of her chickens.
Sarah chose to join the Fusion team because of their commitment to individualized care that is unique to each patient. She values their team-oriented approach and loves being able to work in a clinic with so many different specialities. She also loves working for a company that values service to the community around them. Fusion makes it a priority to be present in the community and hosts several volunteer opportunities throughout the year in the greater Fredericksburg area. Sarah first became part of the Fusion team in 2021 during her first full-time clinical rotation, and is so excited to be back on board now.
Sarah specializes in pelvic floor rehabilitation and has taken courses for joint mobilization through Maitland Australian Physiotherapy Seminars, Hermand and Wallace Pelvic Function, Myofascial Decompression cupping therapy, and cervical spine manipulation. She loves working with all different kinds of people, especially helping people recover after having surgery and helping moms get back to their favorite activities in the postpartum phase.
