PT, DPT
Physical Therapist

I grew up in Virginia and have spent most of my life in the area. I pursued my education at Marymount University, where I earned my Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Through my studies and clinical experiences, I developed a strong interest in helping people recover from injuries, improve mobility, and regain independence in their daily lives. Currently, I work at Fusion Rehab and Wellness, where I focus on providing patient-centered care and developing individualized treatment plans to support each person’s rehabilitation and long-term health goals.

My core values are compassion, integrity, and dedication to helping others. I believe it’s important to treat people with empathy and respect, especially when they are going through challenges such as injuries or health issues. Integrity is also very important to me—I try to be honest, dependable, and always do what’s best for the people I’m working with. Lastly, I value continuous growth and learning. I believe there is always room to improve, both personally and professionally, so I try to keep developing my knowledge and skills to better serve others.

To care for those who once cared for us is one of the highest honors.” – Tia Walker

My top three favorites would probably be The Dark Knight, Interstellar, and The Office. I enjoy movies like The Dark Knight and Interstellar because they tell powerful stories and really make you think about bigger ideas like responsibility, sacrifice, and human potential. I also like The Office because it’s lighthearted and a great way to relax and laugh after a busy day.

One challenge many patients deal with is feeling discouraged or frustrated during the recovery process, especially when progress feels slow. Rehabilitation can take time, and patients often struggle with motivation or uncertainty about whether they will fully recover. I would like to help address this by creating a supportive and encouraging environment where patients clearly understand their progress and feel confident in their treatment plan. By improving communication, setting realistic goals, and celebrating small improvements, I believe patients can stay more motivated and engaged throughout their recovery.

At Fusion Rehab and Wellness, I work as a physical therapist where I help patients recover from injuries, manage pain, and improve their mobility and overall function. I focus on creating individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s specific needs and goals. My work often involves orthopedic rehabilitation, post-surgical recovery, and helping patients return to their daily activities or sports safely. I also emphasize patient education so individuals understand their condition and feel empowered to take an active role in their recovery.

I really enjoy working at Fusion Rehab and Wellness because of the supportive team environment and the focus on patient-centered care. Everyone here is committed to helping patients reach their goals, and it’s great to work alongside colleagues who share that same dedication. I also appreciate that the clinic values individualized treatment rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, which allows us to really focus on what each patient needs to recover and improve their quality of life.

In my free time, I enjoy staying active and spending time with family and friends. I like working out and staying physically active because it helps me maintain a healthy lifestyle and also relates to the work I do in physical therapy. I also enjoy relaxing by watching movies or shows and occasionally listening to podcasts. It’s a good way for me to unwind and recharge outside of work.
