Dr. Katie Ventura

PT, DPT, CSRS

Katie is a Fredericksburg native, having lived in the area from childhood through college. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Mary Washington in 2008 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Delaware in 2012.

After grad school, Katie started her career at UVA Health, working in the acute care setting, and then spent a decade in the Shenandoah Valley at Augusta Health, working with patients in acute care, inpatient acute and subacute rehab, and outpatient neurological settings. In 2023, Katie and her family moved back to Fredericksburg to be closer to family.

Katie specializes in neurological rehabilitation, such as strokes, TBIs, Parkinson’s disease, MS, and other neurodegenerative diseases, as well as treating orthopedic conditions and injuries. She is a Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist and is also certified in Dry Needling.

When not at work, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids, being crafty, and playing either the piano or flute.
