Dr. Shelby Nikouee, PT, DPT is a Stafford native and found her home at Fusion through her final clinical affiliation when she was still a student. Shelby’s love for Physical Therapy was found during her own physical therapy treatment of Chiari Malformation type 1 when she was in high school. Through Chiari, Shelby found her passion for helping others return to the functional activities they value most.

“I started with Fusion Rehab and Wellness as soon as I finished my final clinical affiliation with them in 2021. When I was a student I fell in love with the staff and patients that I was treating. I decided to stay at Fusion when I started my career because of the clinic’s dedication to excellence. We strive to have the best outcomes and to treat the patients that have tried everything else with no success, we like a challenge. As a company, we put a lot of emphasis on continuing education to continue to build our skill sets as well as collaborating with one another in order to create the best patient care possible. The staff at Fusion has always gone above and beyond for our patients, making a true family-friendly atmosphere. I love being a part of the Fusion Family!”

Shelby is also a member of the Design Team at Fusion and is responsible for many of the t-shirts and holiday logos for the company. “I enjoy being able to combine my love for graphic design with my passion for Physical Therapy, it’s the best of both worlds.”

Shelby treats a variety of conditions including neurological, orthopedics, post-surgical, and vestibular and is well versed in using manual therapy techniques to decrease pain and improve function. In her free time, Shelby enjoys reading and hiking with her husband and her dachshund.
