Dr. Stephanie Stahr is an Alexandria native but spent time living abroad with her family in Dresden, Germany for several years before returning to the US in 2020.

She worked as a wound care physical therapist in the inpatient hospital and outpatient setting and later for a home health agency across northern Virginia after graduation. Becoming a parent widened Stephanie’s professional interests to include pelvic health.

She specializes in Pelvic Health with training through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Health Institute. She finds working with patients with pelvic pain particularly rewarding.

Stephanie also enjoys working with patients in sports medicine and general outpatient orthopedics and believes you’re never too old to get stronger! With all patients, she strives for a holistic approach to wellness.

Fun facts about Stephanie: When not at work you can find Stephanie gardening and getting active outdoors with her family. She has also taken up power lifting and is enjoying getting stronger while learning to push her limits with the barbell. She is fluent in German, although is becoming a little rusty!

“I joined Fusion because I value their patient-centered care approach, and how the team really takes the time to get to know patients. I believe it’s important that the patient has a voice in their care and their personal goals are integrated into therapy for the best outcomes. The Fusion team does a great job of this!”

Stephanie specializes in pelvic health, orthopedics, and dry needling.
