Mariah Evans

Physical Therapy Technician

Born in Fredericksburg and raised in Spotsylvania, she is currently finishing up her Associate’s degree to pursue and continue her education in Physical Therapy/Sports Medicine.

She has always loved physical activity and has played sports her whole life, including basketball and soccer. Through these experiences, she has grown as an individual, which has guided her toward pursuing a career in Physical Therapy. During high school, she helped her athletic trainer during her off-seasons with games, practices, and events. This experience was both amazing and educational in Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy.

She helps keep the environment clean and safe and assists the PTs and PTAs with their patients in Physical Therapy. She has noticed that patients often feel frustrated and seek instant gratification. She enjoys being there to keep them motivated throughout the treatment and healing process.

Fun Facts: Mariaha enjoys being in nature, kayaking, and spending time with her family.
