Samantha Sudol

Physical Therapy Tech

Samantha Sudol works as a physical therapy tech and is the backup administrator. Samantha enjoys helping and taking care of people and working at Fusion has only helped her to solidify her love for aiding others.

As a senior in high school she volunteered with a special needs class at a local elementary school. Working with those kids opened her eyes to the beauty of Physical Therapy. Seeing those kids smile ear to ear after they accomplished their tasks for the day thanks to the PT brought her so much joy.

In May 2022 she will be applying to Germanna’s PTA program which will help her to continue furthering her dream of becoming a PTA. In her spare time she enjoys hanging out with her two cute pups, Lola and Blue! She also likes to dabble in a little art here and there mostly in the acrylic medium!

Devin Heaney

Physical Therapy Technician

Devin comes from a military family but has spent most of his time living on the coast of NC. He recently settled in Spotsylvania, VA and found Fusion through his father, who was an aquatic therapy patient at our South Stafford clinic.

Outside of work he enjoys gaming, thrifting, listening to podcasts and hanging with friends at local breweries.

“Prior to Fusion I had never worked in a clinical setting before and was very nervous. During my first couple of weeks as a Tech, all of the staff here were very inviting and my nerves were easing away in no time.

This company is like no other I’ve worked for! There is a perfect balance of professionalism, kindness, humor and humility in the air at all times and it has cultivated a great working environment.

Our therapists are full of knowledge and I have learned so much just working alongside them for the last couple of months. The patients have given me a gentle push to go back to school with their kind words of wisdom and appreciation for the work I’ve done.

All of the positive reinforcement I receive from my fellow staff members and our patients has given me the motivation to go back to school and pursue my dream of being a PTA.

I plan to finish my prerequisites at Germanna and eventually apply to their PTA program. I have seen Physical Therapy work wonders on my own family members who had multiple surgeries and that is what initially sparked my interest in the field.

I hope to continuing making my own mark on peoples’ lives in the same way, along their health and wellness recovery journeys.”
